Module I:

Computer Fundamentals and Digital illustration:
This module trains students with structural foundations of web lay outing, how designers use grid systems to unite text, images, and other page elements within an overall visual communication. Case studies explore how the masters constructed fluid designs on firm foundations. Students also learn how elements such as margins, markers, modules, and flow lines help to unify a layout or web template. Then they examine applications for the common grid systems used by designers: manuscript grid, column grid, modular grid, and hierarchical grid. In the exercise, you'll apply these concepts to the design of a 4-page magazine spread.

Computer Basics, Internet & Networking, Introduction to Graphic Design, Raster & Vector Graphics, Drawing Vector Shapes and Illustrations, Measurement & Sizing. An Introduction to Drawing Techniques, Production Requirements for Single and Multicolored Artwork, Conceptual Thinking in Creativity. Developing a Personal Illustration Style, Case Studies and Projects.


Image Magic and Lay-Outing Techniques:
Advanced Raster Techniques, Collage and Masking, Image Retouching and Color Balancing, Using Filters, Backgrounds Design, Logos and Corporate Identity Design, Typography, Color vs Design, Color vs Computers, Brands & Brands Identities, Designing Brochures & Catalogues, Layouts for Newspapers, Magazines & All Kinds of Publications, Case Studies & Projects.

Collaborative Project:
Students need to work with client side projects/live projects and will have a degree of flexibility in choosing the orientation of their project
